Description

Rock Island Arsenal 1903 bolt action rifle in 30-06 caliber. Features an “HS” High Standard marked barrel dated 9-44 with flaming bomb and “P” proof stamps, and a very good somewhat dark bore. Has 2nd variation Remington elector-penciled numbered bolt, milled trigger guard, floorplate with “B” stamp, follower, swivels, buttplate, and upper band. Has matte black refinish with a few nicks and dings. Has “S” type arsenal refinished walnut stock with reinforcing bolts, some dents, and a stamped stock number. Has characteristics of a “CMP” re-import. Serial 3419xx, original mfg circa 1919-1920, C&R eligible, overall Very Good condition.
