Remington Hepburn No. 3 Sporting and Target rifle. Caliber is .40 1 7/8″ or .40-50 Rem. Barrel is half round and half octagon and is heavier than standard. Bore is excellent. Barrel length 28″. Frame has about 80% case colors that are beginning to fade a little. Wood is very good plus with sharp checkering. Barrel has about 93-95% blue. Barrel has a Beech front sight and a 5″ Ladder tang sight. This is a very fine Target Hepburn.
